Tara is a small country town in Queensland with a population between 900 - 1000 people. Tara is situated 2 hrs west of Toowoomba and 3.5hrs west of Toowoomba on the Western Downs. Tara is accessible from the north, south, east and west by car or coach.

BRISBANE TO TOOWOOMBA
Greyhound Coaches offer multiple trips between Brisbane and Toowoomba daily. Their timetable allows for connection to Sun Bus for the remainder of your journey to Tara. View Greyhound timetable.
TOOWOOMBA TO TARA
Sun Bus Coaches arrive at Tara BP (within a walk of the festival venue) at 12.40pm on Friday 2nd August 2019 (the first day of the festival. Stay in a Festival Tent, with everything ready and set up for you, including stretcher beds, mattresses and bedding. A Sun Bus coach returns to Dalby and Toowoomba on Monday 5th August.
